Thanks to my Musical Fidelity Tri-Vista 300 blowing its right channel output transistors, I now have one Hales Transcendence 8 with a fried crossover. My brother took it with him to New Mexico for repair. He has a friend who knows the manufacturer of the (now cracked) filter caps and is capable of replacing them. My brother will then reinstall the crossover. The speaker's drivers appear to be OK.
