DUMBO ("Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass") is where you are when you exit the F train at York Street, the first stop into Brooklyn from Manhattan.
I visited for the first time this Friday, on my way to meet John DeVore, and take a tour of his loudspeaker factory.
I had some time before our scheduled appointment, so I decided to wander around for a bit. I was glad to be early, because DUMBO is a wonderful, colorful area, covered in cobblestones and archways.
