We assembled almost the entire staff in the office backyard one January 1995 afternoon to record the special "break-in" noise track on Test CD 3. Clockwise from left: music editor Richard Lehnert, shipping manager Doug Chadwick, editorial assistant Nancy Fay (with bohdran), accounts receivable manager Steven Stoner, show coordinator Maura Rieland, company president Larry Archibald, Schwann publisher Bruce Shortz (Stereophile owned the Schwann Guides 1991-1997), assistant publisher Gretchen Grogan, managing editor Polly Summar, and receptionist Susan Phillips.
