The 1012 is a very flexible preamp with inbuilt DAC and phono stage. Ten years on the DAC is a bit long-in-the-tooth and no longer competitive with the best out there but the analog section is superb, especially the phono stage. Nice industrial design, exquisite build quality and great sound.
