The recently refinished 40 year old Large Advent speakers appear to have th original Advent tweeters. The woofers seemed to have been replaced by, what appear to me to be, the direct replacemets offered by a web supplier. The cabinets were a little rough, but with some sanding, I then repainted them with 2 coats of black paint and fround some very open weave black knit material from WalMart for $1 I used to recover the Grills. The speakers still sound amazing for their age, or may they do becuase of MY age. Whatever, for free and a small amount of work on my part I have two very nice Large Advents in my family room.
