Playing drums, vibes, marimba, and percussion at the Cantus "Cover" concerts, Dave Hagedorn -- http://www.stolaf.edu/people/hagedord/welcome.html -- is Artist in Residence at Minnesota's famed St. Olaf College. He opened the second half of each concert with a solo performance on vibes of Leonard Bernstein's "Some Other Time," but my key memory is of Dave bowing his vibes to produce ghostly sounds in an arrangement by Gary Ruschman of Bjork's "Unravel."
