Thanks! Nope, heat is no issue since the monos slide all the way out and all heat from the 6C33C tubes moves up past the cabinet entrance. The preamp does not run very hot with the 5998 Tung Sol's. Wood is warm to the touch. I cut holes in the back of cabinet for air circulation which was a compromise with the wife for squeezing everything in here. However, now that I have a little toddler running around it is all for the better.
