My laptop recently expired, so I splashed out on this desktop setup(with TV card)the Altec Lansing powered speakers sounded like cr*p, so set up this Marantz 50 watt Int Amp with completely reworked bookshelf speakers - Peerless drivers,custom crossover and radical wiring layout(see pg.2 of DIY gallery)no damping at all inside cabinets, just the 2 drivers and 4 strands of 30 gauge copper wire pulled tight and exiting out the rear of cabinet-holes sealed with BluTak! As we say here in Oz, they sound sh*t hot!!!
