His refurbished Steinway! I took this shot with my cellphone while recording Bob's new jazz quartet, Attention Screen, in his home in March. Comprising piano, electric guitar/lotar/lap steel, fretless bass, and drums, the band only play free improvisations. Yet to these ears it sounds composed, a tribute to the musicians' collective virtuosity. I plan to record them live at Carnegie Hall's Weill Recital Hall in the fall for a Stereophile CD
