Description:	There are three production lines, one in the foreground for the assembly of relatively lightweight products like preamps and surround controllers, a second in the middle for heavies like amplifiers and receivers, and a third in the background for disc players. Production is organized on a batch basis, ands the workers on the lines can switch from one product to another without any hold-up. See here (all upside-down) are an MC1202 two-channel amplifier and a parade of MC 275 reissue tube amplifiers. Sam Tellig raved about the latter in his July 2004 column.

Nice to see U.S. based people at work for a change instead of Mexican,China, or Taiwan. Do you think McIntosh will have to take some of the cheaper models and make em "over there"? Hope not, but when bookeepers ATTACK, look out! When they print the front panels, MkEntosh....oooops. And put an Apple next to it, cus' they can't read the instructions in ENGLISH Hope none notices. McIntosh is one of the few left HERE.

This little McIntosh went all the way home....weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, these rollers sure are smoooooth
