Did JA misspell "speling" on purpose? We can only believe he did. Very clever, JA.

Santa Fe County misspelled my street name TWICE, before they got it right!

Larry Archibald emailed me to let me know the city has finally corrected the spelling, so I'll take another photo when I am next in New Mexico.

I checked the sign last week, and can confirm the correct spelling. Maybe by the time you're back in NM, it will no longer be a dead end street. I suspect it will still be a narrow road, though.
